Office Manager

The successful candidate will be an experienced administrator with bookkeeping experience.  They will have strong multi-tasking and communications skills and be proficient with computer and general office equipment.  The Office Manager is responsible for overseeing the day to day administration of the Central Services office and is responsible for all the accounts payable system.  The Office Manager will be the first point of contact for the public and must be able to represent Yellowknife Catholic Schools in a professional manner.



  • Coordinate the day to day processing of accounts payable

  • Perform administrative functions to ensure effective District wide operations

  • Provision of office administration and support to Central Services staff

  • Coordinate purchasing and tendering functions

  • Perform other related duties as required



  • Accounts payable and bookkeeping experience

  • Experience in Serenic software is an asset

  • Strong computer skills including working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel)

  • Experience in Google Suites is an asset

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Analytical and problem solving skills

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work

  • A vulnerable sector check must be completed

This position reports to the Assistant Superintendent - Business.
